Recorded in 1984, " Stupid Music" was more of an experiment than an official release. Loops, samplings,

simplistic electronic drum sequences

with rudementary recording equipment,

was the first evolutionary step in

InVisible 12's process to explore new

boundaries in the world of electronic music.

"12" was a turning point in InVisible 12's

evolution. A new sound became the focus

of the music that materialised into what

InVisible 12 self-categorized as "Techno-Surf ",

proclaming as being the creators of this new genre of electronic music, by bridging the Techno sound of the mid 1980's with the underground Surf music of 1960's bands ike The Shadows, The Tornadoes...

Leisurely recorded over a period of three years," Cursed Baloney" used the sampling methods of "Stupid Music" with the hypnotic rythms of "12", stepping through the doors of early Techno-Sampling and Industrial House music, bonding similarities to groups like Severed Heads, Front 242, Jack The Tab and even Negativland.

Never the less, songs like "Head Rush' or

"Trance" are still fine examples of their

Techno-Surf sound.
